Individuals and organisations with an interest in strengthening specialised medical care in Malawi may create professional user profiles by clicking on the Members page (only accessible for registered users of MedNet Malawi). Individual members can choose sign up under one of the following categories: CoM Alumni, Medical Specialist or Technical Expert. Institutional members are structured according to Academic, Technical Resource and Financial partner organisations.

Blogs & Stories
The Blogs & Stories section features blogs of academic, clinical and technical experts on personal experience gained throughout their professional development. This may include stories on international study experience or challenges encountered by medical experts returning to Malawi from Diaspora, opinions on different career development opportunities and many other topics that are of concern for professionals with an interest in specialised medical care in Malawi.
Blogs may be read by all site users. However, only registered members may create new blogs. All blogs are monitored by the site maintenance team and content may be edited / removed if found inappropriate.
The Discussion Forum allows registered members to debate specific issues in specialised medical care. Discussions may be of technical nature, but might also serve to strengthen communication links between tutors within Malawi and medical students on elective exposure courses abroad, for example. The main purpose of this function is to provide a streamlined communication tool that allows for multi-stakeholder discussions.
Discussion forums may be closed, that is limited to specific members only, and/or open to all registered members. Unregistered members cannot use this function. All discussion forums are monitored by the site maintenance team and content may be edited / removed if found inappropriate.
News & Developments
Under News and Developments, all users find up-to-date information on current developments in seven specialty areas with reports on latest projects, developments, challenges and current events: Anaesthesia, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Pharmacy, Radiology and Surgery.
